Mr Demos Neophytou is a Cyprus Orthopaedic Surgeon who is dealing with the vast majority of the Orthopaedic spectrum and has special interest in Sports Injuries and Lower Limb reconstruction. He qualified from Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki and he was trained there.
During his residency he participated several Orthopaedic meetings and workshops. After finishing his training he gained the very prestigious scholarship of the National Orthopaedic Society of Greece and continued his training in the United Kingdom.He worked in the NHS in Watford Hospital and then continued his training in Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust, a peer centre of excellence with Professor Timothy Briggs specializing in lower limb reconstruction.
He then worked in SWLEOC where he gained further experience in lower limb reconstruction. Following that he joined Epsom Shoulder Unit where he was trained in shoulder and soft tissue surgery with Mr Vipul Patel and Nick Little.He then worked in Homerton University Hospital, London 2012 Official Hospital where he did Muscoloskeletal Sports Injuries Fellowship and he continued working with Team GB during the Games of the XXX Olympiad. He gained experience in clinical and radiological diagnosis of sports and soft tissue injuries and treatment with key hole surgery of shoulder, hip and knee conditions as well as minimally invasive methods.
Mr Neophytou is consulting patients at his chambers, Ethinikis Antistaseos 23. Operations are formed at Ygia Polyclinic Private Hospital.
